FOR YOUR INFORMATION
Due to COVID-19, we have an enhanced cleaning regime in place and will be disinfecting frequently touched surfaces such as door handles and light switches. Plus, you can self check in and out. As you can probably see, we are in a remote rural location, so it’s easy to practise social distancing as there’s no need for you to come into contact with anyone at all (except a few cows passing by!) .
Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is at 10.00am from The Calf Shed and 10.30am from The Herdsman's Hut on the morning of your departure.
The Herdsman's Hut does not have WiFi, however, you can pick up 4G on most networks. The Calf Shed has free WiFi.
Ample parking is available on a hardstanding surface in the farm yard. The parking is a mere few meters away to get to your accommodation which takes all the worry away about transporting your things to and from your car.
Tea, coffee, fresh milk and butter are provided in your accommodation. You can pre order a Broxhall Farm Granola breakfast hamper for 2 for breakfast for a cost of £5.
Because we are on a working farm, no dogs are allowed.
If you choose to stay in the winter no need to worry about the cold. The Herdsman's Hut and The Calf Shed are very well insulated and there is a 4kw wood burning stove to keep you warm and cosy in The Herdsman's Hut.
Please note that here at Broxhall Farm we have a variety of animals including dogs, cats, cows, sheep, ponies, ducks and chickens. While all of the animals are very tame, they can be unpredictable. Please treat them with respect and take note of barriers and fences- they are there for a reason. We will not take any responsibility for accidents that take place where boundaries have been crossed.
Please also let us know in advance of your stay if you have any allergies as these will be taken very seriously.
