Attached to the owners 16th Century farm house, The Calf Shed is all on one level and features open plan living with original exposed oak beams, a sofa, dining table, king sized bed, a large bathroom with walk in shower and a fully equipped kitchen. Come the warmer months, you can pop outside to a private seating area to enjoy breakfast al fresco, or a glass of something cold and a BBQ after a long countryside walk.
There are many wonderful walking opportunities from your doorstep to explore this pretty part of Kent.
The Calf Shed can also be booked with The Herdsman's Hut for two couples who want to holiday together but have their own private space.

"The calf shed has been beautifully designed and caters for all your needs. Everything has been well thought out and so tastefully done. The bed is really comfy too! The hosts Ellen and Tom are so warm and make you feel so welcome. There was a beautiful basket of goodies on arrival which was so thoughtful and a jug of milk and butter in the fridge! You can purchase steaks and homemade burgers which are delicious and should be tried! We absolutely loved our stay here and cannot recommend it enough as it’s a really hidden gem, but still accessible to all the local attractions! We will definitely book again!"

"Well presented open plan space tucked away in this quaint village with a terrific pub less than 15 minutes walk away. Positioned on a working farm adjacent to the hosts, it was very idyllic and the perfect spot to unwind whilst also being a great base for exploring the area. We loved hearing the cows in the nearby fields and seeing the chickens outside our door! The property itself was very clean and cosy with bags of character! The hosts were there to greet us on arrival and were super friendly and helpful. Thanks again, we had a lovely stay :)!"
